A. Age Restriction

Memu Live is strictly intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. Minors under the age of 18 are prohibited from using this app. By registering or attempting to access the app, you certify that you are at least 18 years old.

B. Detection Mechanism

Our app deploys automated and human systems to recognize activities involving underage individuals as well as Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse ("CSEA"). We have implemented advanced detection systems to identify any activities that may indicate the presence of underage users. These systems analyze various data points, including registration information, behavioral patterns, and communication content. Additionally, we are committed to detecting and combating any forms of child sexual exploitation and abuse. Our dedicated team utilizes state-of-the-art technology and adheres to strict protocols to identify and report such heinous activities.

C. Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to:

• Displaying, promoting, or engaging in the sexual or physical abuse or exploitation of minors, including:
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including any screenshots or clips from the original material, even if they do not depict nudity or sexual activity.
  • Romantic relationships between an adult and a minor, including pedophilia, or self-identifying as an adult attracted to minors.
  • Grooming behavior.
  • Sextortion.
  • Sexual harassment.
  • Sexual solicitation, including inviting a minor to engage in a sexual act, go off-platform, or share sexually explicit images (even if invited by another minor).
• Displaying or promoting physical abuse, neglect, endangerment, or psychological abuse of minors.
• Revictimizing minors who have experienced abuse or exploitation, including through third-party reshares.

D. Penalties for Violations

In the event that we detect an underage user attempting to use or successfully using the app, immediate action will be taken. This may include, but is not limited to, permanent account suspension, deletion of all associated data, and reporting to the relevant authorities as required by law. For any individuals or entities involved in child sexual exploitation or abuse on our platform, we will pursue the severest legal consequences available, cooperating fully with law enforcement agencies to ensure justice is served.

E. Reporting Mechanism

• Incidents of child abuse will be reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) or other apposite authorities as mandated by law.
• Users can report potential violations through the in-app reporting feature or by contacting us via in-app customer service.
